The notoriety of the incorrigible The insight that there will be no failure The self belief of victory The hope of a better sunrise Mixed with good beer and good wine A cup of black coffee and cheesecake A trip around the world and mistakes Stories to reminisce, dreams that have no end; no purpose; […]

The next day mixes with today Will that which was promised stay? Will this be it or will there be betray? The past, present and future come together as one. The moon shines bright; so is the sun. Bombs, sirens, batons and guns. All whisper; giving advices to heed. All with covert wants, all with […]

Everything is everything. Linked; connected; one thing changing another. Our futures are linked to each other. It is Midnight’s Children with everyone the protagonists; connected to the future of the nation. A nation crumbling in front of our very eyes. Just saying it is a trend/wave and the whole world is going through this wave […]

Write. Write for these words will soon disappear from your mind and eventually your heart. A door that connects two rooms is in both. A door that leads somewhere is everywhere. The mind can lie to others while the heart cannot lie to self. Our ideology, needs and desires all stem from bias that support […]

As we walk through the vacant streets, with smell of sweat, blood and misery; lacking of faith, devoid of freedom; only gunpowder, batons and decay. The city of djinns, now a city of sins, communal terrorists committing violence, while those that swore to protect us; now protect them and watch in silence. A country united […]

I have nothing left to say; may the winds guide the way Fate: a myth, a facade we create. Karma, religion, gods, demons; cultural imaginations created to bring order to society and explain values to kids. I do not know the trail; may the waves guide the way I stuck out my head, did all […]

Breathing fire to heavens Sprinkling snow in hell Making love to demons And slaying gods instead; Walks free a contradiction that breathes Chained to his desires and needs Fly; but only birds do that. Win, but only rats do in this race A hamster on a wheel; a sick experiment Puppets on threads; animals. Public […]

liars; hustlers; piety and innocents; all concocted imaginary tags that elicit made up play thingies in our brains to explain this weird amalgamation of fucked up, primal, oh not so advanced emotions yet going through break neck speed of advancement on the smorgasbord called the universe. We over estimate our lives while undermining others. We […]

I am unread and dead. Crying and lying. Panting and paining. Demented and trying. I am the ghost of the christmas past Unleashed at last. The scrooge with the rolex. The hypocrite on caffeine. The kisser that sold lies. The dreamer in search of truth. The demon that electrifies, The vengeance that loves love. The […]

Trees that don’t bear fruits still give oxygen. Songs that don’t make sense still carry music. Love that does not get found is still not lost. Hope is an aching whisper for water in drought. Summer that brought gloom; grief, for someone that cannot process it anymore. Pondering on the dead and the wicked, laughing […]

There is a promised land but I don’t know where it exists Is it in the future or the past we lost? Was it taken away from the clutches of hope by the jaws of fascists? Was it ruined by the wail of the crying mothers whose sons won’t return home? Fighting a war that […]

And the woman looked on through the broken glass window seeing the child that she once was holding tears, secrets and memories of past and those scars that tend to last. She met the young girl of eons before; told her to take control. Take risks; make mistakes; and behave her age. For the world […]

What inspiration would i need? Answer the halcyon winds. The sycamore trees continue to wait; awaiting the end of night. The plunder and ruins that is our present Looks for a future that resembles the past the night is long and the sun is dead the bread is cold and the coffee bad. Escape the […]

Dying between fleeting moments of insight; while we reminisce in the still of the night.

Beyond the gaps in the bricks we see the fields Beyond the prism of reality we believe the myths When we are ruled by an invisible whip Intoxicated on money and money alone We live in houses that are no longer homes We are also the bricks in the walls Walls of schisms, Prisons. Patriarchy. […]

Air raids, sirens, smell of freshly charred skin and napalm All for a piece of land that can be owned and ended with -stan. Patriarchy in the garb of big guns, bigger egos and small shlongs Rooted to our self created hell we are all plants Desensitized to blood, numb to violence; unknown to peace […]

You take the prophets and trip them on mushrooms again So they can claim they met god and create a new religion for their friends Or describe them in stories consisting of lakhs; with flying carpets and elephant heads Take all the followers they have; still chained to these fiends; knowing all yet knowing nothing. […]

I am here but I disappear There are no chains on my ankles but I ain’t free Surrounded by chicanery, skullduggery and tomfoolery. Faux priests and part time leaders; False sermoning preachers and sly idealogical “activists” Training trained politicians how to do politics. Blood splatters on the road and pavements; 26 minutes and 40 seconds […]

Strike at the head of the idea Cry-teria. His-teria. Mania. Life is a cheesecake; there are layers Fly for the skies that take you nowhere Stare at the sun till your soul burns bright Make the bastards pay. Fight for the light in the night. Fight for what is right till you are dead. Not […]

Revolution demands blood. Revolution is overrated; romanticised. Consisting of many lives passed by in an hourglass Values that require consistence more than bite Flaws and truths secondary; power is the input Power is the process. Power outcome. All ways accepted; all ways denied. Russian roulette. Hypocrisy and time. Laughter. Tears. Struggle. Years. Is there a […]

Demons. Oceans. Dreams. Cage. Those who play for applause have never really played. Kingdoms. Sirens. Concrete. Fiction. Dare to fight to materialise that impossible utopian vision. Cravings. Flings. Chocolate. Desires. May the clenched fist be raised to keep raging the burning fire. For this fire burns… …the cult of personality. Miseria Cantare. The smiling tragedy. […]

I am a ghost that wants no applause I am a rider without an hourglass And with every moment that goes past A desire or two die, perhaps. These streets on which we cannot breathe Brothers of eons ago that no longer meet Lovers that are holding each other together in silent grief. I am […]

They are slashing down the trees in New Orleans The woodwork was all that those men there knew And now the wind is dry without the touch of the leaves Missing the cold kisses; missing the stories underneath Years it took for them to grow; minutes to not be there anymore Sans the rains that […]

Humans or dancers? Killers or gods? There was a list that was long Contained jailed singers and their songs. Who are all now gone. While we stay here all alone. Dripping blood on the floor. Concrete walls and black holes. Slowly trying to go through them as we crawl, Emitting sounds that grow old We […]

Where do we go from here? Feet on Crossroads with blank stares. Coughing, bleeding, hurting; Accusatory, demeaning and hateful glares. Do we built hatred inside us and let it consume our lot? Do we panic and pull the trigger? A point blank shot. Do we turn a blind eye and take refuge in our castle? […]

Old singers are dead now; give these children new songs to sing. Old heroes are frail now; give these scenes female protagonists that win.  Old thoughts are gone now; give these revolutions new guns to swing. Old memories are lost now; give these times new sins to commit. Old biases are not understood now; give […]

If personal is political, you have to work on yourself to understand how your personal thoughts and opinions—and the forces that shaped them – can be interpreted and translated into policy for the people. This requires a transition of taking the subjective life, with all its experiences, feelings, meetings, and conversations, and rendering it objective […]

We built a nation that betrayed its youngest; and they are done pretending. The children who had to grow up in the shadow of a single towering leader, the demagogue who who consumed every corner of their digital universe, due to our (the previous generations) shortcomings. The children who never had the chance to see […]

It’s time to ride the horses back home It’s time to reflect and take control. It’s time to double down on the tries It’s time to remember the lies. It’s time to go back to the principles It’s time to acquire skills and discipline It’s time to realise that the path we are on Is […]
